New Haven: Furioso (1939-1953). Twenty-nine issues, all very near fine or better with only #2 having two light stains to the front cover. Four early issues in stapled wrappers, the remainder perfect bound. Niedecker, WCW, Cummings, Pound, Dylan Thomas, Auden, Stevens, Durrell all in the first four issues. While the magazine would expand to include essays, fiction, and reviews, and several changes in editors and venues, it would always present interesting writers, a home for both Weldon Kees and John Ashbery.
