Created from the furor over suppression of portions of William S. Burroughs’ NAKED LUNCH, Big Table went on be a major forum for “Beat” writers including Kerouac, Ginsberg, Ferlinghetti, Corso, and Bowles, but would embrace the Black Mountain and NY schools quickly and thoroughly.
