Lectures delivered in New York at the New School for Social Research. Translations from the original German by H.T. Lowe-Porter and Rita Matthias-Reil. Dated (8/37) and SIGNED by Clifford Odets on the first leaf, which also bears his embossed stamp, “CLIFFORD ODETS / NEW YORK CITY.” About a dozen instances of underlining or bracketing by Odets who has penciled on the verso of the last leaf, “Title. ‘Once Upon a Time.”
