Designated “Publisher’s Copy” on the colophon page and SIGNED by Purdy. As in the deluxe issue, there is an original drawing tipped-in after the title page. Additionally INSCRIBED by Purdy, “for John Martin / with friendship and / all good wishes / and with appreciation / from / James / December 6, 1968. Laid in are two extra drawings and a June 4, 1969 holograph letter from Purdy to Martin stating in part, “You have no equal in book publication!”
