Santa Barbara: Black Sparrow, 1985. First edition, publisher’s copy. 148 pp. Foxing along top edges, else fine in printed paper-covered boards with cloth spine and printed label. Fine acetate dust jacket. Designated “Publisher’s Copy” on the colophon page and SIGNED by Oppenheimer. As in the lettered & signed issue, there is an original holograph poem by Oppenheimer tipped-in after the title page. Laid into this copy is an invitation to the publication party at the Groiler and a long TLS from Oppenheimer expressing pleasure with the book, and making many suggestions for possible reviewers.
