San Francisco: Mudra, 1973. First edition. [20 pp]. Near fine in unprinted white glazed wrappers. Lacks dust jacket. One of 500 copies printed at the Cranium Press. Meltzer had decorated with front cover with text and drawings in two colors, and added a design to the rear cover. Penned beneath the printed colophon statement in Meltzer’s hand, “5/6 – the suck white / paper wrapper edition / hand-illuminated by the / author – 2.22.79 / David Meltzer.” Finally, this copy is dated (22 Feb 79) and warmly INSCRIBED by Meltzer in two colors to close friends.
