One of 150 copies kept for private distribution--this copy is numbered 16, and is for 'Ellen,' probably Ellen Tallman. A SEVENTEENTH CENTURY SUITE is a sequence of 10 poems and a coda, and was later reprinted as part of the first volume of GROUND WORK, though this issue features a beautiful cover designed and drawn by Duncan himself, featuring his beautiful calligraphy.
